Prior to co-founding VisEn in June of 2000, Mr. Poss attended the FW Olin School of Business at Babson College and worked for Boston Scientific Corporation in a healthcare strategy group. Before business school and BSC, he was a Manager for several years at Kendall Strategies, a business consulting firm working exclusively with biomedical companies. Earlier in his career, Mr. Poss developed his scientific background in chemistry, molecular biology and imaging at the Center for Molecular Imaging Research, where he worked with Dr. Ralph Weissleder in developing novel imaging agents and molecular drug delivery systems.

Mr. Kleijne has more than 15 years of international sales and senior management experience spanning the pharmaceutical, life sciences and device industries. Recently he led GE Healthcare's commercial programs in pre-clinical imaging in Europe. Before working with GE, he served as the Chief Commercial Officer for Kreatech Biotechnology in Amsterdam; Director, European Sales for Pyrosequencing in Sweden; and Manager of Business Development at Amersham Pharmacia Biotech. Prior to entering the life sciences industry, he served as a researcher at the National Institute of Public Health and Environmental Protection in the Netherlands. He holds a Masters of Science degree in Molecular Biology from the University of Utrecht.

Dr. Madden leads all corporate development and external research activities, including business development, intellectual property, partnered agent development programs and clinical development programs. Prior to joining VisEn, Dr. Madden was Vice President at Kendall Strategies, a healthcare business-strategy consulting firm located in Cambridge, Massachusetts. At Kendall, her clients included small start-up biotechnology companies as well as multinational pharmaceutical companies. Before Kendall, Dr. Madden worked as a consultant to Structural Genomix. She has a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Rutgers University where she determined the X-ray crystallographic structures of viruses and viral proteins.

Dr. Yared leads all product development activities. Prior to joining VisEn, he held senior management positions with the Cambridge Strategic Management Group and with Arthur D. Little, Inc., where he led a number of technology-based consulting assignments worldwide in the imaging, medical products, semiconductor and telecommunications industries. His clients have included Fortune 500 companies, start-up firms and governments in North America, Latin America, Europe and the Far East. He began his career fifteen years ago as Principal Research Engineer in electronic imaging at Polaroid, developing high-resolution electronic imaging systems. Dr. Yared received his Ph.D. in Engineering (Robotics) from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Mr. Ziolkowski joined VisEn in December 2007 with 15 years of corporate finance and operations experience in the technology sector. Prior to joining VisEn, he was Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer at Axsun Technologies, Inc., a market-leading optoelectronic instrumentation manufacturer. During his tenure at Axsun, he helped grow revenue from $0 to $20 million per year, optimized operations to reach profitability and closed both venture capital and debt financings. He joined Axsun from PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, where he advised a cross section of leading technology companies as a manager in the Technology Practice in the Audit and Business Advisory Services Group. Mr. Ziolkowski holds a B.A. in Economics/Accounting from the College of the Holy Cross.
