New funds are available to help acquire leading-edge quantitative instrumentation.
President Obama has committed to increasing NIH Funding immediately through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (Recovery Act), Pub. L. No. 111-5. The Act appropriates $300 million to NCRR for shared instrumentation and other capital research equipment, as well as $1billion for grants or contracts under section 481A of the Public Health Service Act to construct, repair or renovate existing non-Federal research facilities.
Quantitative in vivo instruments to enable the greatest biological insights.
VisEn manufacturers the leading quantitative fluorescence in vivo imaging platform - - the FMT 2500™ quantitative tomography system and our suite of fluorescence in vivo imaging agents. There is no other fluorescent in vivo imaging platform available that:
Allows for true quantification to the picomole of fluorescence in vivo,
Facilitates easy and rapid multi-modality imaging with our FMT quantitative tomography-derived data and that of microCT, PET, Spect, and MRI,
Provides a complete suite of robust, validated and commercially-available near infrared (NIR) fluorescent in vivo imaging agents,
Supports translational imaging through clinical trials of its in vivo imaging agents,
Supports pharmaceutical and biotech companies in co-developing novel and translatable in vivo imaging agents on our quantitative FMT platform through our Imaging Biomarker Development Program,
If you are in the market for a quantitative in vivo imaging system, VisEn can help.
If you are in the market for a quantitative in vivo imaging system, VisEn is extending the following offer to assist such researchers, laboratories or institutions (1) gather support for grant submissions or (2) assistance in acquiring our instrumentation:
1. |
In Vivo Demonstration of the FMT 2500 and VisEn’s Suite of Agents
VisEn Medical has a full in vivo imaging suite at its headquarters in Bedford, MA. For prospective customers interested in evaluating imaging systems and seeing how true quantification of fluorescent imaging biomarkers is possible in vivo, we welcome guests to our facilities to:
1. |
View a live in vivo demonstration of the FMT 2500,
2. |
Gather the mini-study data set, assembled in a presentation format, for inclusion in your grant submission,
3. |
Meet a variety of members of the VisEn Management and Scientific Team. With sufficient notice, meetings with the CEO, Chief Technical Officer, VP of Applied Biology and/or Senior Applications Scientists can be arranged,
4. |
Tour the VisEn R&D, Manufacturing and Chemistry Facilities, and
5. |
Receive Scientific Presentations and/or Overview of One’s Application Areas of Interest.
Should an alternate be required, VisEn also has travelling demonstration FMT 2500 systems in North American and in Europe. In-field demonstrations therefore may also be arranged.
