Email: Phone: 650-473-5052 Fax: 650-473-5062 A workshop on the science and practical issues of small animal imaging will be held at Stanford on November 5-8, 2008. The workshop will cover new commercially available small animal imaging systems (optical, radionuclide, x-ray, magnetic resonance, and ultrasound) and how researchers use these small animal imaging systems to study the molecular basis of disease non-invasively and aid in the discovery, development, and monitoring of novel molecular-based treatments. Workshop attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in in vivo small animal imaging demonstrations using the latest modalities installed at Stanford's Clark Center Small Animal Imaging Facility and live animal models of disease.
